CHEN Wei

Mr. Chen Wei, born in November 1978 in Yichang City, Hubei Province, joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in April 1999. He holds a Master’s degree.

He graduated from Wuhan University in 2001 with a major in Administrative Management. In September 2001, he started his work and successively served as the Deputy Consultant of the Division of Institutional Organization and the Division of Personnel at the Department of Human Resources, and Secretary (Deputy Director Level) of the General Office, the Ministry of Water Resources. He successively held the posts of Deputy Director of the General Office of the Supervision Bureau and Director of the Inspector’s Office of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) at the Ministry of Environmental Protection, and Director of the First Discipline Inspection and Supervision Office of the CPC CCID at Ministry of Ecology and Environment. 

He is now the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, the Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, and Vice President of CRAES.
