克里斯蒂安·乔治，法国国家科研中心里昂催化与环境研究所副所长，先后任职于路易斯巴斯德大学、里昂克罗德·贝尔那大学等。因其在大气化学和气溶胶物理化学等领域做出的杰出贡献，于2022年当选欧洲科学院院士。乔治教授的主要研究方向涵盖大气化学、气溶胶物理化学、海洋-大气交换、矿物粉尘光化学及有机气溶胶的形成与老化。其研究成果曾两度获得欧洲研究理事会（ERC）高级资助项目（Advanced Grant，2011年及2022年），并于2004年获颁EUREKA-利勒哈默尔奖。目前，克里斯蒂安·乔治教授已在Science、Nature、PNAS等国际知名SCI期刊发表190多篇学术论文，现为美国地球物理联合会(AGU)旗下权威学术期刊J. Geophys Res-Atmos编委。

Christian George is the Deputy Director of the Research Institute for Catalysis and Environment (IRCELYON) at CNRS-University Lyon 1 in France. He has held academic positions at the University of Strasbourg, Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University, among others. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to atmospheric chemistry and aerosol physicochemical science, he was elected a member of the Academia Europaea in 2022.His primary research focuses on atmospheric chemistry, aerosol physical chemistry, ocean-atmosphere exchanges, mineral dust photochemistry, and the formation and ageing of organic aerosols. His work has been twice awarded the European Research Council (ERC) Advanced Grant (2011 and 2022). Earlier, in 2004, he received the EUREKA-Lillehammer Prize. To date, Professor George has published over 190 papers in prestigious international journals, including Science, Nature, and PNAS. He currently serves on the editorial board of Journal of Geophysical Research: Atmospheres (JGR-Atmospheres), a leading journal of the American Geophysical Union (AGU).
