徐明，清华环境学院副院长、清华大学碳中和讲席教授、环境生态学教研所所长、环境数据科学与系统工程团队负责人，入选国家海外高层次人才引进计。同时担任Resources, Conservation & Recycling 主编、国际产业生态学会主席。曾任美国密西根大学（安娜堡）环境与可持续性学院及土木与环境工程系教授。主要从事环境系统工程、产业生态、环境人工智能领域的研究。主要从事环境系统工程、产业生态、环境人工智能领域的研究。2015 年获得国际产业生态学会青年科学家 Laudise 奖（首位华人获奖者），2016 年获得美国国家科学基金奖励青年教师的最高奖 CAREER 奖，2021 年获美国土木工程师协会针对职业生涯中期科学家的最高奖 Walter L. Huber Civil Engineering Research Prize（产业生态和生命周期评价领域首位获奖者）。

Xu Ming is the Associate Dean of Tsinghua School of Environment, the Tsinghua University Chair Professor of Carbon Neutrality, the Director of the Institute of Environmental Ecology Teaching and Research, and the Head of the Environmental Data Science and Systems Engineering Team. He has been selected for the National High-Level Talents Introduction Program. Additionally, he serves as the Editor-in-Chief of Resources, Conservation & Recycling and the President of the International Society for Industrial Ecology (ISIE). Previously, he was a professor at the School for Environment and Sustainability and the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. His primary research areas are environmental systems engineering, industrial ecology, and environmental artificial intelligence. In 2015, he received the Laudise Award for Young Scientists from the International Society for Industrial Ecology, becoming the first Chinese recipient. In 2016, he was awarded the CAREER Award, the highest honor given by the U.S. National Science Foundation for early-career faculty. In 2021, he received the Walter L. Huber Civil Engineering Research Prize, the highest award from the American Society of Civil Engineers for mid-career scientists, and he is the first recipient in the field of industrial ecology and life cycle assessment.
